Portraits – showing what matters
With portraits there are essentially two options: in the studio with a clean look (black or white background, elaborate flash setups) or on location. Shooting on location allows a more personal view of the person and shows them in their private or professional environment. These photos are therefore more candid and feel more natural as a result.
How does it work? – How I photograph portraits
In a preliminary conversation we clarify the intended use and decide whether the photos should be taken on location or in the studio. In both cases at least 40–60 photos are created (exception: you're in a real hurry …), and I deliver the successful shots via my private, password-protected online gallery. The photos are matched to a consistent style in post-processing. You pick your two best photos, and these receive additional beauty retouching. On top of that I create optimised formats for LinkedIn, Xing or Facebook.
Examples of my portrait photography
- Portraits of executives for the press
- Employee portraits or team photos for your online presence
- Classic business portraits – e.g. application photos – from professional to quirky, always matched to the new role
- Artist portraits
- Portraits during and after interviews, readings, etc.
- Family photos with children, couple portraits
- on location or in the studio
