The longer version
After a photography elective, I spent a few years pursuing other goals. From January 2012 to June 2014 I attended the Prague School of Photography along with plenty of other courses and workshops - and since January 2013 I've been working professionally as a photographer ;)
Telling a story through images is what I consider the core purpose of any photo reportage. Whether it's a concert, an eventful day at a company summer party, or a press conference - everything has a story, and I want to capture it.
Most of my work happens on location, because real moments don't happen in a studio. My goal is to make people feel like they were there when they look at the photos.
In a world flooded with snapshots, I want to tell your story visually and deliver photos that capture emotions - keeping them alive in memory for a long time.
What sets me apart: my sense of humor and my ability to perform under pressure. A keen eye for detail, technical confidence and solid training let me deliver great images even in challenging situations.
Institutions & publications
Photographs by me are commissioned and used by leading Vienna photography institutions:
- Foto Arsenal Wien - official photographer; images featured in the Grand Opening 2025 press section.
- WestLicht – Museum for Photography - official photographer.
Exhibitions and projects
Beyond client work, I also pursue personal projects on topics that matter to me - some call it fine art photography:
- One image was shortlisted in a photo competition by the Wien Museum as part of the “Winter in Vienna” exhibition.
- Two images were shortlisted in a photo competition by MUSA/Wien Museum as part of the “Nebenschauplätze” exhibition.
- “Seventeen Sisters - A Love Letter to Analog Photography”, group exhibition at FINE ART Galerie, 2023.
- Photography contributor to the book “Das andere Sehen” by Robert & Heidi Mertens, 2020–2022 (over 80 published photos).
- Toskana Diversa 2019 - group exhibition, 2019.
- faith-hope-love, 2015–2016 - a project to bring faith, hope and love back into the lives of refugees, in collaboration with my sister.
- Die Qual der Wahl, 2015 - exhibition as part of the Prague School of Photography at Ursulinenhof, Linz.
- Wendepunkte, 2014 - group exhibition with Wolf Hoffmann and Ingrid Heinz, Art & More Gallery, Vienna.
